LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: 12 months; 240 days
POSITION SUMMARY: A Technology Media Specialist creates and edits video content and designs print and digital materials such as pamphlets to support communication and engagement. They collaborate with staff to produce effective multimedia resources aligned with initiatvie goals. In addition to content creation, they provide technical support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues with staff. This role combines creative media production with hands-on technology support to enhance daily operations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in area related to position; certification as appropriate.
PREFERRED: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university; Leadership Experience
EXPERIENCE: Experience recording, and editing video content; designing and producing printed materials such as booklets or pamphlets; troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Video staff and/or district personnel and edit videos to provide high quality resources for districts
2) Create pamphlets and booklets covering district information and successes
3) Support staff in their technology needs
REPORTS TO: Director Educational Services
MINIMUM SALARY: $81,750
