Position Overview

TheCreative Communications Coordinatoris a highly creative, mission-driven professional who serves as the visual and digital voice of Koinonia Christian Center. This role is for a storyteller who is passionate about the intersection of media and ministry-someone who can direct production, manage high-level marketing campaigns, andfacilitatea team to capture what God is doing in the life of our church family.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in translating complex spiritual truths into compelling visual and written content. The candidate for this role would report to the Director of Marketing and Communications.


Key Responsibilities


Production Direction & Creative Content

Coordinate & Co-Direct Production Recordings:Collaborate on thetechnical and creative direction for all video and audio projects, ensuring high-quality storytelling that aligns with the KCC brand.

Designing & Creative Directing:Provide creative oversight and hands-on design for sermon series, ministry initiatives, and physical signage as needed.

On-Call forSpecialRecordings:Maintainflexibility to capture "Special Encounters," breaking church news, or time-sensitive testimonies as they occur.

Content Creation:Capture, create, and edit creative photo and video content that highlights life-change and the dynamic atmosphere of KCC worship and fellowship.


Social Media Oversight & TeamLeadership


Assist withLeading&DevelopingtheSocial Media Team:Co-leadthe daily operations of the social media team, ensuring a consistent, vibrant, and engaging online presence across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).

Team Recruitment:Recruit, train, and empower volunteerteam membersand staff in creative roles (photography, editing, social engagement), fostering a culture of excellence and joy.

Digital Strategy:Monitor analytics to adjust strategy and maximize the impact of our digital "front door."


Marketing Campaigns & Event Rollouts


Campaign Management:Assistinthecreation of marketing rollouts for major events, conferences, and seasonal campaigns.

Campaign Assets:Help with the development ofa full suite of assets for each campaign, ensuring seamless integration between social media, website, and physical environments.

Special Encounters:Create specific communication strategies for "Special Encounters" and guest speakers to maximize community invitation and engagement.


Copywriting & Content Strategy


Script Writing & Copywriting:Draft compelling scripts for video projects, promotional reels, and podcasts.

Creative Messaging:Writeengagingcopy for social media posts that captures the heart of the message and drives meaningful interaction.


Mass Communications & Membership Messaging


Membership Messaging:Execute and oversee mass communication efforts (email newsletters, SMS/text alerts, and push notifications) to keep the KCC family informed and connected.

Website Management:Ensure kccfamily.com is updated with relevant content, currentseriesand sermoninformation, and resources for both new guests and current members.

Brand Consistency:Ensure that every digital touchpoint reflects the KCC culture of honor, excellence, and authentic fellowship.


Qualifications


Growing Relationship with Jesus Christ:A heart for the local church and a commitment to KCC's visionto grow in God's word, build real relationships, serve with purpose, and share your faith.

Technical Mastery:Proficiencyinuse of AI tools, basicvideo editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve) and graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).

Communication Skills:Exceptional writing and editing skills for mass communications and scriptwriting.

StrategicLeadership:Proven ability to manage teams, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

Technical Agility:Familiarity with mass communication tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Church Community Builder, or SMS platforms) and social media management suites (e.g.Metricool,Hootsuite)
