The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is skilled in translating complex spiritual truths into compelling visual and written content. The candidate for this role would report to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate & Co-Direct Production Recordings: Collaborate on the technical and creative direction for all video and audio projects, ensuring high-quality storytelling that aligns with the KCC brand.
Designing & Creative Directing: Provide creative oversight and hands-on design for sermon series, ministry initiatives, and physical signage as needed.
On-Call for Special Recordings: Maintain flexibility to capture "Special Encounters," breaking church news, or time-sensitive testimonies as they occur.
Content Creation: Capture, create, and edit creative photo and video content that highlights life-change and the dynamic atmosphere of KCC worship and fellowship.
Social Media Oversight & Team Leadership
Assist with Leading & Developing the Social Media Team: Co-lead the daily operations of the social media team, ensuring a consistent, vibrant, and engaging online presence across all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.).
Team Recruitment: Recruit, train, and empower volunteer team members and staff in creative roles (photography, editing, social engagement), fostering a culture of excellence and joy.
Digital Strategy: Monitor analytics to adjust strategy and maximize the impact of our digital "front door."
Marketing Campaigns & Event Rollouts
Campaign Management: Assist in the creation of marketing rollouts for major events, conferences, and seasonal campaigns.
Campaign Assets: Help with the development of a full suite of assets for each campaign, ensuring seamless integration between social media, website, and physical environments.
Special Encounters: Create specific communication strategies for "Special Encounters" and guest speakers to maximize community invitation and engagement.
Copywriting & Content Strategy
Script Writing & Copywriting: Draft compelling scripts for video projects, promotional reels, and podcasts.
Creative Messaging: Write engaging copy for social media posts that captures the heart of the message and drives meaningful interaction.
Mass Communications & Membership Messaging
Membership Messaging: Execute and oversee mass communication efforts (email newsletters, SMS/text alerts, and push notifications) to keep the KCC family informed and connected.
Website Management: Ensure kccfamily.com is updated with relevant content, current series and sermon information, and resources for both new guests and current members.
Brand Consistency: Ensure that every digital touchpoint reflects the KCC culture of honor, excellence, and authentic fellowship.
Qualifications
Growing Relationship with Jesus Christ: A heart for the local church and a commitment to KCC's vision to grow in God's word, build real relationships, serve with purpose, and share your faith.
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in use of AI tools, basic video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve) and graphic design (Canva or Adobe Creative Suite).
Communication Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills for mass communications and scriptwriting.
Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams, oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Technical Agility: Familiarity with mass communication tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Church Community Builder, or SMS platforms) and social media management suites (e.g. Metricool, Hootsuite)
What Makes This Role Valuable?
You get to tell the "God stories" of KCC-stories of transformation, and hope. You will also work in an environment where creativity is valued as a tool for ministry and evangelism. You will help build a digital bridge to various generations and the community at large, and you will play a vital role in ensuring that the outreach, fellowship and ministry of KCC reach people every day of the week.
