What You'll Do

  • Manage communication across every medium within the church
  • Think creatively and strategically about how we communicate the essence and mission of Long Hollow
  • Help teams and projects identify their primary audiences and develop messaging strategies accordingly
  • Manage content and messaging across all social media platforms
  • Craft and oversee advertising and marketing campaigns
  • Lead and manage all crisis communication
  • Plan, shape, and manage special project websites
  • Manage all Long Hollow web properties and mobile applications
  • Steward the Long Hollow branding strategy
  • Steward and protect the Long Hollow voice
  • Oversee and align all communication channels for clarity and consistency
  • Oversee content development for giving campaigns, special offerings, impact reports, and similar initiatives
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Creative Pastor on major church-wide projects


Skills Needed to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for an organization (non-profit or ministry experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive content
