Job description

The retail industry is undergoing massing change, and AWS wants to assist line-of-business leaders to not only adopt the cloud, but also transform and modernize their businesses. Our Retail/CPG industry business unit is seeking a seasoned retail expert with experience selling and implementing large-scale projects, a track record of thought leadership in retail, and a strong understanding of technical solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the industry and its ecosystem, strategic thinking, and communication both written and presentations.

We seek a clear point of view about the industry, expressed with a knowledgable and distinctive voice. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
Key job responsibilities
Analyze the retail industry, drawing out trends and requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set the industry go-to-market strategy.
Propose and justify novel solutions that can be scaled across the industry.
Engage with c-level leaders in the retail industry, including presentations and workshops to solve line-of-business problems.
Provide thought-leadership via blogs, e-books, podcasts, webinars, conference presentations, and participation with industry groups.
Utilize sales tools to track strategic accounts and engage with field sales.
Deliver highest level of sales and customer service to our clients.
Individual contributor influencing many teams.
This role requires up to 50% travel including international travel.
