Job description


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our infrastructure and platforms team. This role will be responsible for managing, supporting and optimizing our diverse cloud platforms, including Azure, Azure China, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud, as well as overseeing our Akamai Content Delivery Network (CDN) operations across the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and proven leadership capabilities.
In this role, you will report to our IT Director and work from our Charlotte, NC office on a hybrid basis. Note: for the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage a global team of IT professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring team development and engagement.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, management, and operational support of the Coveo search implementation and the organization's infrastructure, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
  • Manage the Coveo Operations and Akamai CDN platform operations, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT strategies that align with business objectives and drive operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for data security, privacy, and governance.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends that may impact the organization's infrastructure and propose innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Develop and manage budgets for infrastructure projects and initiatives, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Facilitate problem resolution and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring high availability and reliability of all IT services.
  • Collaborate with Honeywell Global Security Team for dealing with security incidents.
  • Manage daily operations and provide support for all infrastructure and platform services, ensuring they meet organizational demands and user expectations.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management and operations.
  • At least 5 years of experience leading high-performing teams in a global context.
  • Strong expertise in managing cloud platforms, specifically Azure, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Azure China.
  • Proven experience in managing content delivery networks, particularly Akamai.
  • Excellent knowledge of network architecture, security principles, and best practices.
