  • This role supports the client's web platform by owning backend development, debugging, and ongoing maintenance within a Kentico CMS environment as the organization brings its website management in-house.
Job Summary
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues within the client's Kentico CMS environment, with a strong focus on backend development
  • Develop and maintain custom widgets and components within the existing codebase using C#, ASP.NET, Razor Views, and SQL Server
  • Work across staging and production environments to test enhancements and deploy updates reliably
  • Enhance the client's website by implementing new functionality, resolving bugs, and improving overall site performance
  • Collaborate with a small internal team to prioritize and address website issues as they arise
  • Remain available throughout the week for occasional standups, discussions, and urgent debugging needs within flexible working hours (approximately 20-30 hours per week)
  • Contribute to front-end enhancements by designing or improving website widgets and user experiences (nice-to-have)
Minimum Requirements:
  • 6 years of web development experience with strong backend coding expertise
  • Must have strong hands on experience with Kentico
  • Proven experience debugging and maintaining complex web applications
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web development best practices
  • Experience with C#, ASP.NET Core (preferred) or ASP.NET MVC 5, Razor Views, and SQL Server
  • Experience working within a CMS platform (Kentico Xperience 13)
  • Experience developing custom widgets and components within existing enterprise codebases
  • Experience deploying code through staging and production environments
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with eCommerce or B2B websites
  • Experience with multilingual websites and website translation functionality
  • Familiarity with REST API integrations, Salesforce, Pardot, GA4, or Google Tag Manager
