Hearth & Home Technologies is looking for a Sustainability Manager to join our team in Lake City, MN or Halifax, PA (preferred locations). As the nation's leading manufacturer of hearth products, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact while driving operational excellence and business results.
In this highly visible role, you will lead our enterprise sustainability strategy, partnering across operations, engineering, supply chain, and leadership teams to deliver measurable reductions in energy use, waste, greenhouse gas emissions, and environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute HHT's sustainability roadmap and enterprise goals
  • Lead energy, greenhouse gas, waste reduction, and circularity initiatives across multiple sites
  • Identify and implement projects that deliver measurable environmental and financial results
  • Manage sustainability metrics, reporting, and performance improvement plans
  • Serve as the sustainability subject matter expert for leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Build organizational capability through training, engagement, and change leadership

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, sustainability, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 7+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, engineering, manufacturing, or continuous improvement
  • Experience leading enterprise or multi-site sustainability initiatives with measurable results
  • Strong business acumen, project leadership, and stakeholder influence skills
  • 30-40% travel

Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing or consumer products experience
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • Experience with ESG reporting, greenhouse gas accounting, or life cycle assessment
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM), LEED, or similar credential
