Position Summary
Service Writer / Parts Coordinator - Renton, WA
$35.00 - $40.00 hr | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits within 30 Days
Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Service Writer / Parts Coordinator to join our growing team! This role owns scheduling, parts sourcing, customer communications, and KPIs for day-to-day maintenance and repairs at our on-site Boeing facilities. Working alongside Amerit Fleet Managers and Boeing CMAs, you are the lynchpin for status updates - keeping business partners informed on unit status, work completed, parts availability, and out-of-service levels, while driving cycle time, PM completion, and downtime targets.
Pay & Schedule
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00/hour (depending on experience)
Pay Frequency: Weekly pay - every Friday
Schedule: Monday-Friday 1:30PM-10:00PM

What You'll Do
  • Support the Fleet Manager and partner with the Lead Technician in day-to-day operations across on-site and satellite locations in your area of responsibility.
  • Schedule all routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance in Corrigo, our computerized maintenance management system, and partner with the customer CMA on service, repairs, and daily updates.
  • Own repair orders end to end-task assignment, parts and service requirements, completion, quality review of time and materials, job coding, and return-to-service communication.
  • Source and manage all parts requests, securing the best availability and pricing while meeting central purchasing objectives.
  • Track parts from requisition through receipt, staging, and delivery to the technician, communicating ETAs and any delays that affect downtime.
  • Perform quarterly and cycle counts as assigned, and keep the parts room clean and organized.
  • Build lasting relationships with vendors, technicians, managers, and equipment owners to maximize productivity and minimize customer downtime.
  • Monitor all preventative and predictive maintenance due dates to ensure 100% compliance and on-time scheduling.
  • Report weekly on repair KPIs-completed and in-progress work, average cycle time, parts turnaround, and PM completion-and develop metrics that drive process improvement.
  • Monitor work order to invoice progress in Corrigo and partner with Amerit FP&A to verify revenue, hours, COGs, and related data.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years of automotive, fleet, or industrial maintenance experience
  • Service Writer and/or parts ordering, purchasing, or parts counter experience; aftermarket parts sourcing preferred
  • Understanding of service intervals and standard repair times
  • Excellent negotiation, phone, and communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to review and analyze data for weekly KPIs; experience with BI platforms and report building
  • Corrigo and POS/parts inventory system experience a plus
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
  • ASE certifications in P1 and P2 preferred
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
  • Self-starter who operates independently with a proactive, can-do attitude

Working Conditions
This role involves exposure to heavy traffic areas, dust, diesel fumes, noise, chemicals, oils, greases, and other irritants. The position requires the ability to access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance, and to move and position heavy objects, including parts and supplies. Frequent movement such as bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and crawling is required, as well as the ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
