Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison with customers to resolve issues related to the claims application process and service.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally by phone and written correspondence regarding all aspects of the claims process.
  • Educate customers on required documentation, timelines, payment details, and claim status via phone, correspondence, and the claims system.
  • Enter accurate verbal and written application data into the claims management system to meet internal and external requirements.
  • Assign new claims to the appropriate claims handler.
  • Route customer calls to the correct contact across locations.
  • Contribute to and maintain a quality service culture within the Customer Service Team.
  • Maintain reliable attendance during scheduled work hours.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of inbound call center experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
