About the Position
Tampa Bay Sun FC is the only women's professional sports team in Tampa and the reigning champion of the Gainbridge Super League! We are seeking individuals passionate about the growth of women's sports who want to kick start their sports career with our Corporate Partnership Internship. This is an opportunity to learn the entire sales process from development of sales materials, research and prospecting of clients, category management, communication skills, contract development/management, and fulfillment. You must be eligible to receive college credit to apply for this internship.
Job Summary
  • Attend all Tampa Bay Sun FC home games and assist in-game partner activations. (Approximately 7 per semester)
  • Energetically build new relationships by researching, prospecting, establishing communication, contract management and fulfillment of obligations.
  • Assist in the development of recap and proof of performance reports and slide decks.
  • Assist with planning and executing season ticket member and partner events.
  • Share in our mission.
  • Maintain accurate notes through CRM software for leads and sales tracking (sponsor cx).
  • Contribute positively to the sales team culture by developing collaborative relationships with team members and across the organization
  • Other duties as business needs evolve.

Qualifications
  • Eligible for college credit
  • Have reliable transportation
  • Available to be at ALL home games during your time frame (August - December, 7-8 games)
  • Availability to work at minimum 20 hours weekly

Additional Requirements
  • Must possess strong communication skills, and be able to work in a dynamic professional environment
  • Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Desire to build a career in the sports industry.
  • Highly organized, self-starter, resourceful, detail oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience/interest in soccer preferred.
