Position Summary:

As a Senior Manager, Corporate Development, you will drive forward established inorganic opportunities and ensure successful execution. This role plays a critical part in executing inorganic transactions at CVS Health. As a member of the Corporate Development team, you'll help shape the company's growth strategy through acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and recapitalizations.

In this role, you will be working closely with business segment leaders, business CFOs and enablement functions, Corporate Development being responsible for:

  • Maintaining an inorganic strategy and pipeline of opportunities

  • Facilitating the process to buy, sell, and recapitalize strategically important assets

  • Reporting on the performance of previous transactions to internal stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and business information of target companies to assess strategic fit.

  • Build financial models, valuation, accretion/dilution analysis and leverage impacts.

  • Lead due diligence and support transaction negotiations, collaborating with internal teams (Business, finance, Legal, HR) and external partners (investment banks, diligence providers).

  • Develop executive-ready materials for senior leadership and communicate effectively with stakeholders

  • Support ad-hoc projects aligned with executive leadership's goals

Required Qualifications:
  • 7 years of overall relevant work experience

  • 5+ years of related experience in corporate development, banking, private equity, strategy, finance, accounting or related field

  • 2+ years of of management experience

  • Willingness to travel up to 10% (including plane)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with executive presence

  • Ability to lead multiple work streams in a fast-paced, complex environment

  • Proven project management skills with emphasis on integrating outputs into unified deliverables

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong judgment

  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience may substitute.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$130,295.00 - $260,590.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
