Main purpose of the Editorial Copywriter role:
This is a permanent full-time role for a candidate who is passionate and excited about creative copywriting for the FWRD and Men’s customer. The editorial copywriter will play a key role in developing engaging, on-brand copy for all FWRD and Men’s email, site and marketing assets. This role requires a skilled writer who can blend creativity with a deep understanding of the fashion and beauty spaces, translating product, brand, and trend features into compelling content that drive conversion and customer engagement.
The Details:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Write a high volume of creative copy for campaigns, email newsletters, landing pages and site-wide communication across FWRD Women’s and Men’s and Revolve Man
  • Develop copy that captures the brand voice and engages the audience
  • Contribute story ideas for FWRD and Men’s editorial features
  • Ensure that all content demonstrates consistent voice and branding by using persuasive yet colorful language
  • Take direction from the Merchandising Director and other creative team partners, working side-by-side in weekly meetings to develop feature copy while utilizing data to develop copy strategy
  • Work with cross functional teams, including design, marketing and retention to ensure cohesive messaging
  • Provide copy direction and constructive criticism and editing to Junior team members
  • Monitor e-email performance based on data analytics, along with keeping note of competitor information
  • Pitch strategies and ideas regularly including AB testing for copywriting
  • Assist with copy needs for events, social, and special projects when needed

  • Passionate about creative copywriting and story-telling with a proven ability to write copy that resonates with consumers and aligns with the brand voice


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with copywriting, preferably within the fashion, luxury fashion and beauty industries
  • Proven track record of writing compelling product copy and marketing copy
  • Familiarity with contemporary and luxury fashion brands for both men and women
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while having a superb eye for attention to detail, style, and composition
  • Well-versed in AP writing style and Ecommerce copy standards
  • Self-driven and able to easily communicate creative ideas


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Journalism, English or related field
  • Experience with designer fashion, product descriptions and demonstrates set management skills
  • Minimum 3 years of professional writing experience in fashion journalism, marketing, PR or related field
