Job Description

IFS Copperleaf's software helps some of the world's largest firms make better strategic decisions, and have a track record of delivering award-winning, industry-changing solutions.

We're looking for a  Senior Solutions Consultant to join our IFS Copperleaf 's Technical Sales team. We require someone who is motivated by the technical aspects of selling software and deeply interested in understanding how the software solutions we provide add huge value for our clients.

As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, collaborating with the sales team, prospects and existing clients to uncover challenges and design compelling solutions using the IFS Copperleaf decision analytics platform. This role is key in demonstrating the positive outcomes of our product suite to prospective clients across the  region.

You will need to be comfortable having close dialogue withexternal stakeholders, including C-level, technical management, and architectural teams to position IFS as the partner of choice for the adoption and enablement of IFS Copperleaf solutions in our core industry verticals.

Our customers are typically mid-to-large asset intensive enterprises managing key infrastructure, such as Energy & Utilities, Water, Manufacturing, Rail & Transportation, and more. In this role you will develop industry knowledge to become a trusted advisor and key technology ambassador for our customers and prospects.

As this is a customer-facing role focused on providing complex solutions, you will need to be comfortable working in a multi-faceted role that will include:

  • Delivering impactful product demos and executive briefings (virtual and on-site)
  • Designing enterprise-level technology solutions
  • Providing technical leadership in the sales process
  • Engaging with the industry at external events

Previous experience in presales, consulting or solution design with other software solutions such as SAP, Oracle, IBM, is preferred. Alternatively, experience with other technology solutions in any of the key industries mentioned above will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Sales and Demonstrations
    • Developing and delivering engaging product presentations and tailored software demonstrations
    • Manage and customize demo environments, scripts, and technical assets
    • Collaborate with Account Executives to define sales strategies and close deals
    • Build strong relationships with prospect stakeholders and partners
    • Represent IFS Copperleaf at trade shows and industry events
  • Solutioning
    • Design enterprise architecture solutions for prospective clients and help them visualize how IFS Copperleaf solutions would fit within their organization
    • Influence product evolution through client insights and market trends
    • Discovering and developing opportunities for existing Copperleaf clients to improve their use of the solution
  • Technical Expertise
    • Respond to RFXs, scope projects, and support proposal development
    • Configuring software for custom demonstrations
    • Contribute to internal team development and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications

About You:

  • You're an industry expert in one or more of the following industries - Utilities, O&G, Petro- Chemicals, Transportation, Public Sector, Manufacturing
  • You have the ability (and track record) of holding meetings with senior executives and influencing outcomes

  • You know how to explain and teach concepts to a variety of stakeholders, and cater your presentation to their abilities and background

Your Background:

  • You're a Solutions Consultant with 3+ years' experience in one or more of the following attributes;
  • Experience in software pre-sales with a complex product
  • Knowledge or strong interest in our business domain; asset management and/or electricity, gas, water, transportation gained from practical experience of working in those industries
  • Before becoming a technical sales professional, you may have gained experience in software implementation
  • You're able to get into the technical detail - any previous experience with a programming
  • languages and software development would be a plus such as C# or a similar object-oriented language
  • Experience implementing software would be a benefit
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical/engineering field
