ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for advanced insurance compliance administrative activities
  • Review, allocate and pay complex invoices from third party vendors
  • Reconcile, allocate and pay complex invoices for fees from various DOIs
  • Maintain effective relationships with DOIs, Bureaus and Program Managers
  • Maintain effective relationships with Company's vendors as assigned
  • Responsible for the daily processing of DOI consumer complaints
  • Take incoming calls that reception staff and lower-level Compliance staff are unable to handle, guiding the caller to the appropriate Program Manager or other resource
  • Provide supportive guidance and assistance to lower-level Compliance staff and to others within the Company
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of products and markets being served by SNC's Program Managers

  • Provide advanced administrative support to management as needed

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without direct supervision
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Advanced skill in Everest database
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Willingness and ability to persist on complex projects
  • Knowledge of Property and Casualty lines of business and types of products written in those lines required
  • Intermediate knowledge of account reconciliation and accounts receivable processes required
  • Familiarity with cost allocation methodologies required
  • Knowledge of DOI Consumer Complaint handling required
  • Administrative knowledge of Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration user interface, as well as various state-specific Motor Carrier sites, required

Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a professional office environment
  • 3 to 5 years of cost-allocation experience required
  • 3 to 5 years of insurance company or agency experience required
