We are currently seeking a full-time Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team in our Knoxville, TN office. Ideal candidates will have at least one year of related work experience. Prior law firm experience is preferred. Candidates should be professional, motivated, organized and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Typing/transcription skills required.
Responsibilities include:
  • Review/Log incoming mail using ProLaw and its dockets, e-mail mail to attorney and paralegal
  • Add Dockets/Tasks for Case Management Orders/Responsive Pleadings
  • Transcribe pleadings, discovery, letters, client reports at attorney's request
  • Proof/format pleadings, letters, etc. prepared by attorneys
  • Document conversions (PDF to Word)
