Responsibilities

What does a day in the life look like?

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be part of a team of professionals providing world-class wildlife management services for residential and commercial properties. You will be heroes in your communities protecting people, property, and wildlife. A successful Pest Control Technician needs to be motivated, energetic, and creative with outstanding communication skills. 

Your daily activities include…

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Inspect and identify properties for wildlife damage including on roofs, in attics, and in crawlspaces
  • Remove nuisance wildlife from residential and commercial properties
  • Perform exclusion work to prevent the reentry of wildlife into homes and businesses
  • Install and service bait stations and exclusion devices
  • Operate and maintain service vehicle and equipment
  • Identify and communicate any safety-related obstacles and lead with a safety-first mindset

Qualifications

What do you need to be successful?

  • No Experience Required – Customer Service, General Labor, or Pest Control Experience is a plus!
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with our great customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in using several types of software and applications

What does the work environment look like?

We go where the wildlife goes! Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Must be able to drive to various locations, often covering large territories.
  • Frequent walking, standing, and moving through diverse types of terrain, including uneven ground, stairs, roofs, and sometimes slippery or muddy areas.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, snow, etc.).
  • Must have the ability to climb stairs and ladders safely.
  • Must be able to crouch, kneel, bend, and stretch frequently.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Clear verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
