Position Overview

As a Pest Control Technician, you play a critical role in upholding our mission:

To serve people with integrity, professionalism, and care building trust through every interaction while delivering reliable pest control solutions that protect homes, businesses, and peace of mind.

This is a service-driven, field-based position requiring professionalism, accountability, technical competence, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • NO SALES! Justservice!
  • Perform thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues
  • Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans
  • Safely and accurately apply pesticides and pest control products
  • Educate customers on pest prevention and provide long-term recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and required paperwork
  • Inspect, maintain, and perform preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuing education
  • Represent Kenneys Pest Control with professionalism in every interaction

Requirements

  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
  • Physical ability to:
    • Wear up to a 50 lb backpack sprayer
    • Carry a 25 lb spray tank
    • Maneuver in crawlspaces, attics, and basements
    • Crouch, kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces
  • Drive and ability to become licensed and maintain continuing education

Previous pest control experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right person.
