Job description

MGS has an exciting opportunity for a Document Control Intern to join our MGS Germantown team.

The Document Control Intern is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Systems and Compliance in updating the Document Control Quality System for all the MGS manufacturing sites. They would be responsible for configuring site-specific groups, including accessibility. The Document Control Intern will assist with gathering and organizing legacy documents for deployment in the Quality system.

  • Serve as a good role model to employees for safe work practices and behavior by conducting yourself professionally, keeping in mind your own safety and the safety of others.
  • Assist in clean-up of Document Control Quality System configuration for MGS Manufacturing Sites.
  • Create new groups and transfer documents, courses, etc. to the appropriate groups in the Document Control software.
  • Create "How-To" work instructions for the Quality System.
  • Assist with data entry and gathering of legacy documents for mass upload into Document Control software for corporate and/or site-specific release.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
