As a Summer 2027 Manufacturing Scientist/Quality Control Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the Quality Control Lab team at our Clinton, Indiana manufacturing plant, to deliver a practical solution to reducing analytical variability, a technical project, or implementation of new lab methods. Interns will have exposure to many career paths and diverse subject matter experts as many projects have site-wide impact.

• Understand the manufacturing process, document using GMP guidelines, and understand the importance of the Quality Unit work within cross-functional teams to implement process or quality control lab improvements.
• Learn about quality control, fermentation, product recovery, product finishing, or packaging.
• Study design improvement processes.

• Education: Currently enrolled in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a similar major.
• Top Skills: Experience in Microsoft Suites and a willingness to learn.
• Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Travel: 10% - to corporate facility in Indianapolis, IN for opening/closing.
• Location: Clinton Manufacturing Plant, Clinton, IN.
