Job Description

Visa USA Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Director (multiple openings) in Miami, FL to:

  • Serve as the regional product strategy lead for the Visa Developer Platform (VDP) in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
  • Act as the principal liaison between LAC product teams and Visa Global to validate that APIs intended for commercialization meet pricing and business-readiness requirements, ensuring they are eligible for contractual deployment in the region.
  • Collaborate with product owners to align digital solutions with Visa standards and the unique commercial dynamics of LAC markets.
  • Shape the regional strategy and positioning of Visa’s Digital Solutions portfolio, including tokenization, authentication, and dCVV2, by integrating product performance, adoption metrics, and financial models for budget and pricing.
  • Guide cross-functional execution by translating technical capabilities into actionable business narratives tailored to regional market realities.
  • Leverage deep, firsthand experience from leadership roles within Latin American banks to interpret how financial institutions in the region operate, structure decisions, and manage product integration.
  • Enable more precise and effective alignment of Visa’s digital strategy to local execution.
  • Advise internal stakeholders on how to sequence go-to-market plans, structure engagements, and calibrate expectations based on country-specific constraints and decision-making pathways.
  • Combine high-level business strategy with practical knowledge of complex environments and to translate both into regional product outcomes.
  • It also requires strong technical knowledge in data analytics, forecasting models, KPI modeling to support planning, financial budget estimation, and executive reporting.
  • Communicate strategic business insights through advanced data storytelling, ensuring visibility of the region’s impact across Visa’s global ecosystem.
  • Manage client relationships, internal discussions, and stakeholder influence across Latin America.
  • Fluency in Spanish required.
  • 15% domestic and international travel required.
  • Position reports to the Miami, Florida office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Research or related field, followed by 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a business analytics-related occupation.
    Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Analytics, Finance, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Research or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a business analytics-related occupation.
  • Position requires experience in the following:
    • Predictive modeling and AI-driven analytics.
    • Strategic Business & Digital Transformation.
    • Quantitative forecasting and business decision modeling.
    • Digital product integration in financial institutions.
    • Process Optimization & Automation.

Additional Information

Worksite: Miami, FL

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: 15% domestic and international travel required.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is $176,467.00 USD to $261,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
