Job Overview
Join a reputable healthcare facility in Pittsfield, MA, as a skilled MRI Technologist. This part-time weekend role (Sat-Sun, 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM, 32 hours) suits those seeking work-life balance or supplemental income, requiring strong technical skills and independent work in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct MRI imaging procedures with precision and efficiency.

  • Operate PACS, RIS, and HIS systems; troubleshoot technical issues as needed.

  • Follow all infection control, confidentiality, and safety protocols.

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care during imaging processes.

  • Maintain up-to-date certifications, competencies, and safety education.

  • May take on mentoring or leadership duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Completion of an AMA-approved MRI training program (X-ray with MRI cross-training acceptable).
Certifications:

  • Active CPR certification required.

  • ARRT (MR) certification required within two years of hire.

  • ARRT (RTR) and Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License preferred.
    Skills/Experience:

  • Capable of functioning independently under pressure and managing multiple responsibilities.

  • Willingness to complete all required annual training and compliance.

Ideal Candidate
A technically strong MRI Technologist proficient in PACS, RIS, and HIS systems. Reliable in a weekend, fast-paced hospital setting with strong clinical judgment, commitment to patient safety/infection control, and ability to manage extended shifts efficiently.
