Delivery Manager | Onsite - Nashville, TN
In this role you will report to the Director, North America Supply Chain.
The Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain execution of contracted projects from 70% confidence through final delivery (typical lifecycle ~26 weeks).
This role represents Supply Chain as the single point of accountability to Project Management, Sales, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring that materials, planning, logistics, and supplier performance align with contractual commitments and customer expectations.
The Delivery Manager governs project-level supply chain planning and execution, drives on-time supplier shipment and project delivery performance, and ensures system integrity within Nextpower's planning environment (Anaplan). This role partners cross-functionally to mitigate delivery risks, maintain data accuracy, and enable operational excellence across regions.
Key Responsibilities
Project Supply Chain Ownership & Execution
  • Own supply chain execution for assigned projects from 70% handoff through fulfillment completion.
  • Represent Supply Chain in 70%, 90%, and 100% project handoff reviews, proactively identifying risks related to BOM alignment, NPI status, domestic content requirements, lead times, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure project delivery plans align with contractual agreements and commercial commitments.
  • Serve as the primary supply chain interface for Project Managers and Sales, providing clear visibility into supply status, risks, and mitigation plans.

Planning & System Governance (Anaplan / ERP)
  • Ensure new contracted projects are accurately planned, allocated, and maintained in Nextpower's planning system (Anaplan).
  • Validate supply allocation against demand and contractual timelines to ensure feasible delivery plans.
  • Support testing, deployment, and adoption of Anaplan enhancements to accelerate planning system transformation.
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of supply chain planning data, including master data, allocations, and data flows across systems.

Supplier & Delivery Performance Management
  • Drive supplier On-Time Shipment (OTS) performance to support regional project On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
  • Monitor and resolve PO vs. SO variances to align supply with demand until project completion.
  • Troubleshoot delivery constraints by coordinating closely with Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, and Project Management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed logistics terms (Incoterms, shipment timing, routing) and contractual delivery conditions.

Cross-Functional Risk Management & Coordination
  • Act as the central coordination point between Engineering, Sourcing, NPI, Planning, Logistics, and Project Operations to ensure supply chain readiness.
  • Identify supply risks early (capacity, lead time shifts, NPI readiness, supplier constraints) and drive mitigation strategies.
  • Support resolution of escalations impacting delivery timelines or customer commitments.

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
  • Build operational excellence by standardizing delivery processes, improving planning accuracy, and reducing delivery variability.
  • Drive lean process improvements within project supply chain execution to minimize expedites, disruptions, and inefficiencies.
  • Contribute to development of scalable best practices across regions to improve supply chain predictability and service performance.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 8-12+ years of experience in supply chain, planning, or operations within manufacturing or project-based environments
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain execution for complex projects
  • Strong expertise in planning systems (Anaplan preferred) and ERP platforms
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; ability to work with large datasets and planning models
  • Experience driving supplier performance (OTS) and project delivery metrics (OTD)
  • Solid understanding of BOMs, NPI processes, lead times, and supply/demand alignment
  • Experience with logistics coordination and contractual delivery terms (e.g., Incoterms)
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills; ability to manage stakeholders and resolve risks
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, drive operational excellence, and perform in a fast-paced environment
