Make a Difference That Matters

In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of contract professionals within the National Intelligence Sector of our Intelligence and Homeland Security Division. Your expertise will directly support the intelligence community's most important initiatives, ensuring every contract strengthens mission outcomes and aligns with strategic organizational goals.

What You'll Lead and Deliver

  • Provide executive oversight of the full contracts administration function for the National Intelligence Sector, empowering, mentoring, and developing a team of contracts professionals.
  • Accelerate business growth through strategic customer engagement, opportunity shaping, proposal leadership, and the execution of complex contract negotiations.
  • Protect mission and business interests by driving rigorous due diligence across all contractual documents and maintaining a disciplined change-control process to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to internal stakeholders and cross-functional leaders, offering expert guidance, resolving contract challenges, and strengthening decision-making.
  • Champion internal compliance by aligning contract performance, processes, and outcomes with management objectives, federal regulations, and agency-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 10+ years of Contracts Administration and Leadership experience
  • Technical skills:
    • Advanced Knowledge of various contract types, relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Intel agency acquisition manuals
    • Expert in complex terms and conditions negotiations
    • Experience with CSOs/OTAs/CRADAs preferred
    • Strong ability to mentor, develop talent, and lead team training initiatives
  • Security Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Location: This is a hybrid position working at our GDIT facility in Herndon, VA. Must be comfortable working onsite a minimum of (3) days a week and traveling to meetings as needed.

The likely salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
