Job description

Venable LLP's Government Contracts group seeks an experienced associate to join the practice in the Washington, D.C. or Tysons office.

The qualified candidate has a minimum of two years of experience working in the government contracts and/or grants space. Qualified candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: FAR and DFARS requirements, the Uniform Guidance, investigations involving government contracts or grants, False Claims Act actions, bid protests and prime/subcontractor disputes. Candidates should have a demonstrated record of excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong academic credentials. Successful candidates will have law firm, government and/or clerking experience. Candidates must have a juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school and be admitted to and in good standing with the relevant bar. Please include law school transcripts with submissions.

The salary range for associate positions is $215,000 to $355,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of job-related factors including, but not limited to, years of related experience, level of education, skills, credentials and certifications, responsibilities and performance.
