Logistics Solutions Coordinator

Excel Courier, Inc. | Sterling, VA | Full-Time | On-Site

The Solutions Coordinator supports high-value, time-sensitive logistics programs in mission-critical environments, including data center infrastructure. This role connects client expectations to daily field execution and is responsible for keeping assigned programs organized, staffed, and moving.

Job Summary

The Solutions Coordinator manages assigned programs from planning and scheduling through live execution and closeout. This includes coordinating crews, drivers, transportation providers, and contractors; maintaining operational records; monitoring active work; resolving issues; and communicating directly with clients and field teams.

This is an execution-focused role that requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage daily planning, scheduling, and execution for assigned programs.
  • Coordinate crews, drivers, contractors, transportation, and backup coverage.
  • Maintain accurate operational workbooks, tickets, schedules, and tracking tools.
  • Monitor active operations and respond to schedule changes and escalations in real time.
  • Communicate directly with clients, field teams, and service partners.
  • Confirm staffing, transportation, equipment, site access, and other readiness requirements before execution.
  • Support client-specific badging and access requirements.
  • Conduct site visits as needed to support execution and resolve recurring issues.
  • Support immediate operational response when incidents occur.
  • Coordinate with Billing, Quality, and other Solutions functions to ensure accurate closeout and follow-through.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling, communication, and operational execution.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in logistics operations, transportation, B2B dispatch, field operations, or a similar coordination role.
  • Experience managing multiple active assignments, customers, or vendors.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in time-sensitive situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working within defined client and operational requirements.
  • Experience working with independent contractors, drivers, or transportation providers preferred.
  • Data center, critical infrastructure, high-value asset, or white-glove logistics experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and operational tracking systems.
  • Ability to conduct local site visits and support schedule changes or off-hours activity as required.

Schedule

Sunday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday–Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Schedule flexibility is required based on client and operational needs.
