We're looking for awell-rounded Software Development Engineer IIto help lead the transformation of ourTFS core systemsinto agile, cloud-native, and service-oriented platforms. This is afull stack rolethat requires strong technical judgment, hands-on experience with modern frameworks, and a proactive approach to system design and delivery. You'll work across backend and frontend technologies, take ownership of key components, and play a critical role in mentoring junior engineers while shaping the long-term evolution of our core business systems.

  • Develop scalable backend services usingJava,Spring Boot, and the broaderSpring Framework.

  • Build responsive UI components usingReactand modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Design and implementmicroservices,REST APIs, andevent-drivencomponents following layered and client-server architecture patterns.

  • Deliver cloud-ready solutions using AWS services such asS3,DocumentDB,Arora, andAmazon MSK.

  • Deploy containerized applications toAmazon EKSusingDocker, with CI/CD support viaJenkinsandArtifactory.

  • Write robust tests usingJUnit,Mockito,Ready API,Postman, andSeleniumto ensure code quality and reliability.

  • Work withNoSQL databases, implement effective caching strategies, and manage builds usingMavenandGitHub.

  • Document and test APIs usingSwaggerand participate in peer reviews, architecture sessions, and production support efforts.

  • Champion best practices in DevOps, code quality, and scalable design.

What you bring

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Proficient inJava,Spring Boot, andRESTful APIdevelopment.

  • Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design, (DDD) and Object-Oriented Design (OOD).

  • Experience withCloud technologiessuch as EKS,S3,MSK,DocumentDB, andElastiCache.

  • Solid background inmicroservices,event-drivenarchitecture, andcloud-native design.

  • Familiarity withNoSQL databases,caching, andreal-time streaming.

  • Familiarity withDocker,CI/CD tools(e.g., Jenkins, Artifactory), andGit.

  • Hands-on testing withunit testing such as JUnit,Mockito, and API testing tools.

Added bonus if you have

  • Experience withAmazon Corretto,Netty,Tomcat, or embedded server configurations.

  • Familiarity withAmazon Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka (MSK).

  • Knowledge of API documentation usingSwagger/OpenAPI.

  • Exposure toReady APIand service-level test automation.
