Work Location: Corporate Headquarters - Pewaukee (Onsite)
Division: Plumbing (Full Time, Exempt)
Under the direction of the Division Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the estimating, design, and execution of plumbing systems, for providing support to field questions and installation problems, and for acquiring new accounts and/or projects in accordance with the Company sales and profit objectives.
Qualifications
  • Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
  • Years of Relevant Work Experience: 3+ years of experience managing or directing work groups in a construction environment.
  • Certificates/Licenses: Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record. Master Plumber and/or DE license would be beneficial.
  • Physical Job Requirements: Required to sit, stand and move throughout Company facilities. Must be able to perform job responsibilities in an industrial, construction site and general outdoor environment around heavy machinery and equipment.

Key Activities
  1. Design and Engineering Support. Design plumbing systems, understand pertinent project documentation, meet with customers, and visit job sites.
  2. Sales. Sell design build plumbing systems and develop new relationships with customers.
  3. Customer Relations. Maintain the Company's relationships with current customers.
  4. New Business. Identify, develop and generate new business activity. Estimate projects/contracts and achieve company expectations regarding turnaround time for quotes/bids/proposals.
  5. "Turn Overs" and Project Preparation. Prepare initial project documentation for "turning over" as applicable to ensure that the foreman has a complete understanding of project and contract.
  6. Support. Support salespeople, project managers, estimators and field foremen on workflow, issues, and/or concerns.
  7. Development of Staff. Assist in the selection, orientation and training of new team professionals as directed by the Division Manager.
