What this role is all about:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Analyst in La Crosse, WI. This position can sit onsite or hybrid. Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm (Hybrid) The Supply Chain Analyst is a key resource in driving data-informed decision-making across Select Custom Solutions and Mill Haven Foods. This role partners with cross‑functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets, using quantitative methods to improve supply chain planning, logistics, and overall operational performance. The analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining performance metrics, identifying trends, diagnosing issues, and delivering actionable insights that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. By building and refining reporting tools and KPI dashboards, this position strengthens visibility into supply chain performance and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The Supply Chain Analyst enables the organization to make smarter, faster, and more strategic decisions that improve customer satisfaction, cost effectiveness, and process reliability.

Job Duties:
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to costs, productivity, demand, and forecasting to drive informed decision-making.
  • Perform statistical and quantitative analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements, efficiency initiatives, and best practices across supply chain functions.
  • Identify and address barriers that impact operational efficiency within the supply chain.
  • Provide analytical support and insights for projects and process improvement initiatives across all departments.
  • Evaluate and validate customer‑provided forecasts, cross‑referencing them with internal forecasts to ensure customer service levels are achieved.
  • Partner with production planning and sales teams to manage forecasting data, ensuring fulfillment levels and stock floor programs are consistently maintained.
  • Support project implementations by analyzing forecasts and demand data to inform resource planning.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and scorecards to measure supply chain performance.
  • Use KPIs and benchmarks to evaluate results, recommend adjustments, and optimize decision‑making.
  • Provide timely reporting and data‑driven recommendations to leadership for strategic planning.
  • Work across all Select Custom Solutions facilities to identify synergies, streamline processes, and strengthen the overall supply chain.
  • Collaborate with sales, production, and operations teams to ensure alignment between supply chain capabilities and business needs.
  • Analyze raw material pricing, ensuring costs are appropriately managed and passed through while driving cost‑reduction initiatives.
  • Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and support cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Understand adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.

Qualifications:
  • Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Experience Required: Minimum two (2) years of experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Certification/Licensure Required: APICS/ASCM certifications preferred.

This facility supplies the food, beverage, and nutritional industries with innovative functional ingredients and superior quality contract manufacturing services. La Crosse, WI, is nestled between the Mississippi River and the rolling river bluffs.
