Job description

OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an ambitious and energetic self-starter to join our dynamic Supply Chain Team as a Supply Chain Analyst. Under the supervision of the Director of Supply Chain Management, the Supply Chain Analyst will conduct supply chain analysis and execute a range of reoccurring and project-based assignments for the Director of Supply Chain Management. Works directly with leadership to develop The ICEE Company’s strategic priorities to drive supply chain and operational modernization through innovation, digital transformation, data analytics, etc. Supports the strategic planning process through prioritization, communication, implementation, and reporting of various initiatives to The ICEE Company’s leadership team.


REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages supply chain data and related analytics by designing, producing, analyzing, continuously improving, and presenting monthly logistics and supply chain metrics, measuring operational and financial performance against specific objectives.
  • Designs and produces monthly internal reports and metrics to measure performance against contractual deliverables, and to measure internal operational performance, identify trends and issues, and to measure internal efficiency.
  • Identifies, prioritizes, structures, and solves complex supply chain problems using data mining, analytics, and business judgment.
  • Summarizes findings into useful information with implication for increase revenue, cost reduction, and/or driving supply chain business decisions.
  • Creates dashboards, reports, and analyses that explain trends – what happened, what may happen, and why.
  • Proactively monitors and manages key performance indicators and execute root cause analysis.
  • Collaborates with internal key personnel to resolve problems and support implementation of company initiatives.
  • Explores large volumes of online and offline data across platforms and data sets to identify and understand various data sources.
  • Examines current processes to identify shortcomings and implement or recommend improvements to drive out waste.
  • Reviews and analyzes data to locate areas in the supply chain process that need improvement
  • Using the results of analyses to improve the overall performance of the supply chain process and reduce costs.
  • Pursues improvement in all aspects of the supply chain by reviewing current methodology and processes.
  • Assesses vendor operations.
  • Handles reoccurring analysis and tasks aimed at driving continuous cost savings initiatives.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

To perform this job successfully, the Supply Chain Analyst must be self-motivated, able to problem solve, detail-oriented, and able to stay on task. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Pay from: $60,000 - Pay is based on experience, education, certifications, and training.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Three (3) years’ experience in a Supply Chain Analyst or Business Analyst role preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or other relevant field preferred.
