Contract Safety Manager Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Northwest Center is seeking a Government Contracts and Safety Manager to support our government operations by driving coordination across contracts, compliance requirements, and internal programs. This role plays a critical part in translating business priorities into structured plans and ensuring alignment with regulatory and customer expectations.

You'll work cross-functionally to support government contract operations, strengthen reporting and planning processes, and lead the organization's safety program. Location: SeaTac, WA
Schedule:Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm (occasional nights and weekends as needed)
Starting Wage Range:$38.00 - $43.50 per hour

What You'll Be Doing:

• Translate priorities into clear plans with timelines, milestones, and accountability measures
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure commitments to customers, auditors, and leadership are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Support audit preparation and compliance initiatives
• Evaluate potential government contract opportunities, elevating viable opportunities to leadership
• Contribute to special projects related to operations, contract opportunities, and safety and compliance effectiveness

• Support contract modifications, renewals, and planning
• Coordinate inputs and maintain required documentation

• Understand government contract pricing concepts and assist with pricing and proposal efforts
• Maintain KPI reporting and support business rhythms

• Establish and lead a company-wide safety program
• Develop policies, resources, safety plans, and other program or site-specific safety documentation
• Coordinate safety committees, drills, and compliance activities
• Conduct hands-on safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Assess safety training needs and deliver or facilitate safety training

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience supporting operations within regulated or compliance-driven environments; government contracting strongly preferred
• Experience with workplace safety, with demonstrated responsibility for establishing, running, and/or improving safety programspreferred
• Business management experiencepreferred
• Strong ability to balance competing priorities across multiple operational areas
• Working knowledge of financial reporting and payroll; exposure to government contract pricing is a plus
• Valid WA driver's license and personal mode of transportation
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business systems
