Safety Manager - Commercial Concrete Construction

Location: Northern Nevada
Job Type: Full-Time | Safety-Sensitive Position
Pay Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year


Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee field safety programs across multiple commercial concrete job sites. This role is responsible for driving safety excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture where safety is a shared responsibility across all levels of the organization.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily site walks, field audits, and safety inspections across active projects

  • Develop, implement, and enforce company safety policies and procedures

  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (including OSHA)

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OSHA standards and industry best practices

  • Execute and monitor site-specific safety plans

  • Lead accident and incident investigations and implement corrective actions

  • Conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and risk assessments

  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for field teams

  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to promote a proactive safety culture

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of safety metrics


Qualifications
  • 10+ years of continuous construction safety experience

  • Extensive experience in commercial construction (concrete experience strongly preferred)

  • OSHA 500 Certification required

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred

  • Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification preferred

  • Strong understanding of construction practices, building codes, and industry standards

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to hold teams accountable

  • Spanish bilingual required
