Job description

Americhem is a globally recognized designer and manufacturer of custom color masterbatch, functional additives, engineered compounds and performance technologies. Our business is built around delivering Performance, Solutions and Trust through close collaboration with customers seeking to optimize their polymer products. All of our products are backed by complete technical support that ensures quality, reliability, and value.

Americhem is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team and support recruiting efforts across our North American organization. This individual will play an important role in identifying, attracting, and hiring high-quality talent across a variety of functions, including Engineering, Technology & Innovation, Manufacturing, Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and other professional disciplines.

The Contract Recruiter will manage full-cycle recruiting while partnering closely with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to understand talent needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver a strong candidate and hiring manager experience. This role is ideal for a recruiter who is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, proactively sourcing talent, and operating effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned professional, technical, engineering, and leadership positions, from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand business needs, define candidate profiles, and develop effective recruiting strategies.
  • Build strong talent pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs, particularly for difficult-to-fill and specialized positions.
  • Conduct candidate screens and provide hiring managers with clear, concise assessments of candidate qualifications and overall alignment with position requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted talent advisor to hiring managers by providing insight on candidate availability, market conditions, compensation considerations, and recruiting strategy.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruiting process to ensure a positive and efficient experience.
  • Manage multiple searches simultaneously while effectively prioritizing positions based on business needs and urgency.
  • Utilize recruiting data and metrics to evaluate progress, identify challenges, and recommend adjustments to recruiting strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information within the applicant tracking system.
  • Support Americhem's commitment to building strong, diverse talent pipelines and attracting individuals who align with our culture and business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting professional, technical, engineering, manufacturing, or commercial positions.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and HR leaders to develop and execute recruiting strategies.
  • Strong candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and maintain a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated adaptability and effectiveness in a fast-paced, changing business environment.

What Success Looks Like

The successful Contract Recruiter will quickly establish credibility with hiring leaders, develop a strong understanding of Americhem's businesses and talent needs, and consistently deliver qualified candidates for critical positions. This individual will bring a proactive, consultative approach to recruiting while balancing speed, quality, candidate experience, and business priorities.
