Job Title: Contract Recruiter Bilingual preferred- English, creole, FrenchPosition SummaryWe are seeking a results-driven Recruiter with experience hiring both exempt (salaried/professional) and skilled trades positions. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process, building strong talent pipelines, and partnering closely with hiring managers to attract and hire high-quality candidates across a diverse range of roles.The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of professional recruiting strategies as well as hands-on experience sourcing and hiring for skilled trades and hourly workforce positions.Monday- Friday 8 am-4 pmKey ResponsibilitiesFull-Cycle RecruitingManage end-to-end recruitment for exempt and skilled trades roles, from requisition intake through offer acceptance.Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing strategies, and hiring timelines.Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and community outreach.Exempt HiringRecruit for professional, technical, leadership, and corporate roles.Conduct behavioral-based interviews and assess candidates for technical competence and cultural fit.Facilitate competitive offer development in partnership with HR and hiring leaders.Skilled Trades & Workforce HiringSource and recruit for skilled trades roles (e.g., maintenance technicians, electricians, mechanics, welders, operators, etc.).Build and maintain relationships with trade schools, workforce development programs, and community organizations.Participate in job fairs and community hiring events.Talent Pipeline & Workforce PlanningProactively build talent pipelines for high-demand roles.Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and source effectiveness.Maintain accurate candidate data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Employer Branding & Candidate ExperienceEnsure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.Promote the organization?s employer brand in the marketplace.Stay current on market trends, labor availability, and competitive hiring practices.QualificationsRequired3+ years of recruiting experience, including both exempt and skilled trades hiring.Demonstrated success managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment.Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.PreferredExperience recruiting in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or related industries.Knowledge of labor market trends and workforce development resources.Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) a plus.
