Position Summary

The site maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of buildings located on property and systems within those buildings. They will fix day-to-day issues like plumbing issues, and manage regular maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, painting, and carpentry.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Perform repairs inside/outside buildings.
  • Replace floor tiles.
  • Repair restroom stall doors, locks and hinges.
  • Painting inside/outside of buildings.
  • Groundskeeping.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.
  • Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrench.
  • Light plumbing and toilet repair.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
  • Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
  • Communicate supply needs for projects with supervisor.
  • Paint and repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, and other parts of building structures.
