Job description

TCI has an immediate need for a Remote Microsoft SharePoint Services Developer This is not a C2C opportunity . This is a long-term contract opportunity with probable extensions and possible hire.
NOTE: This position requires US Citizenship.
SUMMARY
The Client seeks a skilled Microsoft SharePoint Services Developer to support critical digital transformation initiatives. The developer must possess proficient expertise in Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Forms, and Dataverse, to design and implement solutions. Key responsibilities include re-creating Nintex workflows using Power Automate, developing customized SharePoint pages, lists, and libraries using Power Apps and Forms, and assisting with the migration from SharePoint on premises to SharePoint Online utilizing Sharegate. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, experience in SharePoint development, and the ability to deliver scalable, user-focused solutions to enhance the Client's operational efficiency, while adhering to critical Client IT Security Policy and Standards.
Job Duties:
  • Design and develop customized SharePoint pages, lists, and libraries using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Forms.
  • Re-create and optimize existing Nintex workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Assist in the migration of SharePoint on-premises environment to SharePoint Online, ensuring data integrity and minimal disruption.
  • Utilize Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Forms, Dataverse) to build scalable, user-focused solutions.
  • Collaborate with Client PM and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint configurations, workflows, and Power Platform integrations (Power Automate, Power Apps)
  • Provide technical expertise and documentation to support ongoing maintenance and user training for implemented solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Client's security and governance policies during development and migration processes.
    Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint development, including SharePoint on-premises and SharePoint Online.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Forms, and Dataverse.
  • Demonstrated experience in re-creating Nintex workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint customization, including pages, lists, and libraries, using Power Apps and Forms.
  • Experience with SharePoint migration projects from on premises to SharePoint Online and using migration tools such as Sharegate.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex SharePoint and Power Platform issues.
    o Strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and document technical processes.
    o Familiarity with security and governance best practices for SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodology
