QualityControlManager

Summary

The position of QualityControlManager has the overall responsibility of developing, implementing, and managing the quality plan for the project.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage the quality plan.

  • Oversee fieldQuality Control.

  • Perform qualityreportand oversee the documentation of QA.

  • Ensure complianceofthe quality plan with Federal, State, Local, and other regulatory laws and standards.

  • Ensure compliance with the quality plan.

  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001.

  • Providerecords related tothequality system to document control.

  • Determinethe disposition of all nonconformities and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Attend meetings related with Quality issues.

  • Distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.

  • Verify that the quality related site activities arein accordance withthe applicable codes and standards.

  • Develop and implementTraining and Audit programs for QA/QCinternallyas well as subcontractor quality systems.

  • Jointly,with Construction and Procurement departments, review meetingsof contractual specificationsfor all materials involved in the project.

  • Quality evaluation ofsub-consultant,subcontractorsand materials prior to hiring and purchases.

MinimumRequirements

  • Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Science, or equivalent is preferred.

  • Minimum offive(5) years of experience of progressive responsibility inqualitycontrolpositions.

  • Hold a current Professional Engineer License, or the ability to obtain.

  • Experience on largehighway,bridge/structures, paving, and/or utility relocation projects as a contractor.

  • Applicable certifications in Quality and Construction.

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
