System Administrator

100% onsite in Downtown Houston, TX

12+ month contract

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with skill in diagnosing complex integration issues
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Able to manage workload independently, prioritize effectively, and consistently meet SLAs
  • Experience in Agile or hybrid project delivery environments
  • Demonstrated history of keeping platforms stable, secure, and reliable
  • 5+ years of experience in system administration, integration support, or platform management
  • Hands-on experience administering systems, including setup, configuration, workflows, roles, permissions, and customization
  • Advanced skills with integration platforms such as Workato, including environment management, connections, recipes, callable workflows, error handling, and general platform operations
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, and standard integration patterns
  • Experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday, or similar systems
  • Working knowledge of authentication and security practices, including OAuth2, API keys, SSO, and credential governance
  • Experience partnering with integration developers and cross-functional teams
