Description

HTii (Holmes-Tucker International, Inc.) is seeking a Database Analyst / Administrator to support NAWCWD China Lake, CA.
Duties

  • Help manage the Test Information Management System at NAWCWD.
  • Provide desktop application, development, documentation, and maintenance support.
  • Develop, modify, and manage relational databases.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications to meet current and future business requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Highly proficient in desktop computer applications:
    • Microsoft Access or SQL Server
    • Visual Basic for Applications
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong computer and database administration and development skills.
  • Detail oriented with knowledge of UI design.
  • Possess analytical and technical skills appropriate for direct support of military flight testing.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Familiarity with military flight test environment a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. citizenship
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance

Education

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Experience may substitute for degree - please inquire for further information.
