Job description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced GIS Administrator to support ODOT's Office of Data Governance. The role will focus on developing and maintaining GIS applications, enterprise GIS systems, data collection solutions, dashboards, and supporting GIS/CADD software and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support GIS data collection applications and web mapping solutions.
  • Maintain ArcGIS feature classes, web maps, services, metadata, and enterprise GIS systems.
  • Create Power BI dashboards and geospatial analytics.
  • Perform GIS software testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical support.
  • Support Python/ArcPy scripting, data backups, archives, and data integrity.
  • Develop data models, technical specifications, manuals, and user guides.
  • Translate business requirements into GIS solutions and support data governance initiatives.

Required Skills:
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent technical education.
  • ArcGIS Desktop experience.
  • Strong GIS data editing and maintenance experience.
  • Python/ArcPy or similar scripting experience.
  • Microsoft Power BI.
  • ArcGIS Field Maps.
  • ArcGIS Server.
  • Strong communication, troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
