Job description

Primary Purpose
Senior individual contributor in HR Operations/HR Technology who sets HR technology through governance and enhancement prioritization ensuring solutions meet business and regulatory requirements in coordination with HR, IT, Payroll, and Finance. Responsibilities include maintaining platform stability, delivering system enhancements, mentoring team members, driving process standardization and automation. Serves as the HCM functional owner and subject-matter expert across the HR functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manages system releases (e.g., SAP), conducting impact assessments, coordinating testing cycles, and communicating changes to stakeholders.
  • Supports vendor management activities, including troubleshooting, enhancement requests, and roadmap alignment.
  • Ensures accuracy, integrity, and audit readiness of HR system data.
  • Monitors issue tracking systems to enhance the quality of HR services delivered across the organization, with a focus on leveraging automation and data analytics to identify pain points and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Conducts system testing with responsibilities including test scripts development and execution, testing resources coordination, and test completion metrics compilation.
  • Drives user adoption by developing and distributing clear and concise documentation and conducting interactive workshops and targeted training to users.
  • Performs analysis using data structures and data organization techniques to reveal clear insights into strengths and needed improvements.
  • Creates complex reports, dashboards and visualizations for HR and executive leadership decision-making.
  • Researches technical issues; recommends and implements business process configuration modifications to existing processes and/or new processes and supports enhancement requests.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to align system capabilities with evolving business requirements and translates them into technical solutions.
  • Advises on best practices for data governance and system utilization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
  • Typically requires a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, Management Information Systems or Information Technology preferred.
  • Advanced coursework, certifications or formal training in HRIS platforms, data analysis, project management or HR technology preferred.

Experience
  • Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, HR technology, or related roles required.
  • 6+ years supporting HR, HCM, or Talent Acquisition systems required.
  • Demonstrated experience in advanced configuration, testing, reporting, and stakeholder partnership required.
  • Hands-on participation in at least one full lifecycle HCM implementation in a lead or senior role required.
  • Experience supporting multi-module environments (Core HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence, Benefits, Talent) required.
  • Experience in regulated, complex, or multi-entity environments preferred.
  • 3+ years serving as a functional product lead or SME for SAP HCM preferred.

  • HR Information Systems Administration - Directing and coordinating the strategic utilization and development of the human resources information system, including planning, customization, and integration with HR processes, to maximize its effectiveness in supporting organizational objectives and decision-making.
  • Requirements Management - The process of documenting, analyzing, tracing, prioritizing and agreeing on requirements and then controlling change and communicating to relevant stakeholders.
  • Technical Training - The education and instruction of individuals or teams in specific technical skills, knowledge, or competencies.
  • Project Management - Ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects or initiatives within leave administration, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Data Analysis - Measuring and managing organization data, identifying methodological best practices and conducting statistical analyses.
  • Technical Reporting - A form of subjective and formal report that presents the objectives, processes, and results of technical work.
  • Vendor Management - Overseeing relationships with key vendors and partner organizations that deliver products, services, and support to the business. Negotiating and managing contracts with key service providers to ensure service levels are set appropriately and met on an ongoing basis.
  • Technology Deployments - Launches new technologies and innovative solutions within an organization.
  • Records Management - Creating, distributing, using, maintaining and disposition of recorded information maintained as evidence of business activities and transactions.
  • Systems Testing - Testing conducted on a complete integrated system to evaluate the system's compliance with its specified requirements.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Full lifecycle HCM implementation experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Advanced SQL or business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with integrations, automation, or HR analytics tools.
  • Strong functional expertise in TA and HR business processes.
  • Strong collaboration skills in a matrixed, multi-time-zone environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exposure to audit support, data governance, or SOX/compliance environments.

Licenses and Certifications
  • HRIS or platform-specific certifications (SAP) preferred.
