Job Description:

Aalis Management Consulting is seeking two Mid-Level Contract Specialists to support acquisition and procurement activities for a federal agency. The selected candidates will assist with pre- and post-award functions and collaborate with program offices to ensure timely, compliant contract actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support acquisition planning, market research, and procurement package development.
  • Review SOWs, PWSs, IGCEs, funding documents, and acquisition documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist with solicitation development, proposal evaluations, contract modifications, and closeout activities.
  • Monitor acquisition milestones and maintain contract files and procurement tracking systems.
  • Conduct cost and price analyses and support source selection activities.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency acquisition policies.
  • Coordinate with Contracting Officers, CORs, and program stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, acquisition management, public administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of federal acquisition and procurement experience.
  • Experience supporting DHS acquisition programs.
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
  • Experience with contract administration and procurement systems, including PRISM, PD2, FPDS-NG, PIEE, and SAM.gov.
  • Active Secret clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAC-C Level II or III, DAWIA Contracting Certification, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting services and information technology acquisitions.
