Job description

***Looking for Junior Mortgage Loan Processor***

Will assist Loan Processing team and Loan Officers with answering phones, preparing files, collecting conditions and overall assistance to help throughout the loan process.

Job Duties:

· Responsible for providing support to Loan Officer's.

· Working directly with borrowers and the LO to get the file ready for submission.

· Assisting senior processors with clearing internal conditions, CD's and LE's.

· Primary focus of the position is to manage the clerical/administrative and loan processing duties.

· Requesting fees from escrow and uploading fees into the LOS.

· Requesting disclosures from the disclosure team.

Job Requirements:

· Excellent time management skills.

· Provide accurate, valid and complete information.

· Demonstrate excellence in internal/external customer service.

· Excellent verbal and written communication.

· Ability to comprehend and follow directions.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Customer service focused.

· Strong PC skills including ability to troubleshoot common problems.

· Loan Officer assistant with a minimum of 3 years experience

· Bilingual Spanish speaking is a MUST

· Ability to multitask: managing multiple calendars, etc.

· Be cheerful, positive, direct and have a clear speaking voice in dealing with clients on the phone

· Must be extremely coach-able

· Ability to follow a daily checklist

· Must welcome flexible hours

· Adept in Microsoft Office

The Junior Loan Processor works directly with and supports the loan processing team and loan origination staff (loan officers, sales managers etc.). By working collaboratively with the loan origination staff and processing team, a successful Junior Loan Processor must posses current product knowledge of most loan programs and will be able to communicate loan requirements with customers, processors and loan officers.

This job may require frequent sitting or standing for long periods of time. This is a 1099 Contract Loan Processing position with an option to process for outside LO’s.
