Who Are We Looking For
As Lead Contract Administrator, you provideoversight during the construction phase, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from design intent through completion. Working collaboratively with the Project Manager and project team, you align on-site execution with studio standards, clientobjectives, and contractual requirements. You engage early and throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to reviews that enhance constructability, quality, and efficiency. You navigate complex project dynamics with a proactive and solution-oriented approach,maintainingclear communication between the site and studio to uphold project integrity and exceed client expectations.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the project team during the contract administration phase, providing direction and guidance to ensure deliverables areaccurate, complete, and aligned with design intent and project requirements.
- Oversee the contract administration phase, ensuring meticulous oversight of submittal reviews, RFI (Request for Information) and change management, payment certification, project closeout, and active participation in OAC (Owner Architect Contractor) meetings and site visits.
- Conduct site visits to perform limited general reviews,mock-upreviews,deficiency walkthroughs, and occupancy reviews.
- AttendOwner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) and other site meetings to ensure effective communication and coordination. Lead discussions to resolve issues efficiently andin accordance withcontract documents.
- Act as the primary point of contact during the contract administration phase for clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager toestablisha comprehensiveworkplan,monitor,and manage project financials during the construction phase.
- Create a supportive and engaging environmentofferingguidance and constructive feedback to yourteam. Ensurethey are well-equipped with the resources and direction needed to successfully meet project deliverables.
What You Will Bring:
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or Degreein Architecture.
- Minimum 8 years of Architectural experience including Contract Administration.
- Proficiencyin Revit, MS Office, Bluebeam.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving skills.
- Mustpossessa valid G Driver's License and have a personal vehicle available for daily business usewithin Ontario and occasionally outside the province based on project needs.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role, with3days in the Studio.
What We Will Provide
The expected gross annual base salary range for this position is$115,000 to $130,000. Final compensation isdeterminedbased on experience, skills, and internal equity.
