Responsibilities

As a Project Executive – CM/GC Commercial Construction, you will provide executive leadership for complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee project teams, client relationships, financial performance, and operational execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Provide executive oversight for multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and project teams to successfully deliver projects.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships while identifying opportunities for future work.
  • Oversee project budgets, forecasting, profitability, and financial performance.
  • Direct contract negotiations, change management, procurement, and subcontractor strategy.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, Preconstruction, and Field Leadership.
  • Manage project risk, quality, schedule, and safety performance.
  • Mentor and develop Project Managers and future leaders.

What it takes
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience with a commercial or industrial General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM), including experience managing projects as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Operations Manager, or similar construction leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • Experience delivering complex commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, or life sciences projects ranging from several million dollars to large-scale capital construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams, subcontractors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of construction project delivery, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software platforms.
