Position Overview:
We are hiring for an exceptional Contracts Manager to join our growing team. We look for candidates that are thoughtful and team-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, a high level of creativity, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies. We also seek out individuals that are clear communicators and support their teammates with a sense of positivity and open-mindedness.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage contract lifecycle management to include pursuits, bids, negotiations, award, and execution
  • Lead contract negotiations for all major contracts
  • Administer Review and negotiate NDAs, PIAs, and other business agreements
  • Direct interface with US Government Contracting Officers, prime contractor procurement representatives, and other customer personnel inside legal counsel
  • Support audits and liaising with both internal/external customers
  • Assess and advise company personnel on the FAR, DFARS, and other agency supplements (NASA, DOE, etc.) Detailed knowledge of FAR/DFAR and DoD requirements
  • Extensive experience negotiating terms and conditions of the contracts agreements that will govern relationships (Prime and Sub)
  • Analyze contracts received from the government and industry primes; review and conduct risk assessments of terms and conditions; identifying points of negotiation
  • Provide contract advice and working with various functional areas (i.e. Legal, Business Development, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain etc.) in support of proposals, agreements and other activities as required
  • Identify, review, and resolve contract administrative, interpretation, and dispute issues
  • Coordinate with government and industry counterparts to establish professional working relationships, which facilitate successful negotiations and exchange of information
  • Work with the International Trade Compliance (ITC) Department, and others, to ensure strict compliance with applicable Import/Export Laws as required
  • Support Contract data input/entry into SAP

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience
  • Active U.S. Government TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience in and detailed knowledge of all phases of contracting lifecycle (bid/no bid, proposal, contract negotiation, contract administration and interpretation, contract closeout, etc.)
  • Detailed knowledge of and fully conversant with the FAR, DFARS, and other agency supplements (DOE, NASA, etc.)
  • Have experience/working knowledge FFP/FPIF/ CPAF/CPIF/CPFF/T&M and hybrid contract types
  • Have demonstrated experience working both directly with the US government acquisition organizations as well as a supplier to the major prime contractors
  • Extensive experience negotiating with US Government (as a prime and sub) and commercial contracts and other agreements
  • Have a working knowledge of DPAS and Export Regulations
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office products as well as the ability to learn business systems (i.e., SAP)
  • Possess excellent verbal and written skills to communicate effectively with various functional groups at all levels, both internal and external
  • BS or BA in an applicable field (business, legal, etc.) is required
