Product Background

The Client's Communication Hub platform is an enterprise digital message (SMS, eMail, PUSH) platform that serves millions of global customers through 2B digital messages per year. The Team: we have Product Managers in Minneapolis, Chicago, and India, while our Technical leadership sits in San Francisco and Atlanta, and most of our engineering and testing staff sit in India.

Top Qualifications
  • 5 years of experience in digital product management from discovery to OKRs, inclusive of writing requirements, epics, stories/bugs/tasks to support discovery, development, business implementation.
  • 5 years of experience successfully managing timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners.
  • 5 years of data literacy and analysis skills, understanding and using data to craft narratives for varied audiences.
Qualifications Product Delivery
  • 5 years of experience in digital product management or Agile software development with a track record of delivery from discovery to performance management.
  • 5 years of experience owning product and sprint backlogs to enable development for the overall delivery scope.
  • 5 years of experience writing requirements, epics, stories/bugs/tasks to support product development, business implementation, and discovery.
  • 5 years of experience effectively managing timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing, and liaising with stakeholders and functional partners.
  • Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Mural, Powerpoint, and Excel.
  • Proficient in Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery models.

  • 5 years of data literacy and analysis skills, understanding and using data to craft narratives for varied audiences.
Soft Skills
  • Self-starter with strong written/verbal communication, clear vision of efficient ways to get things done, iterative mindset to try, fail, and pivot as needed; organized, able to multitask and prioritize work.

Responsibilities
  • Work with project, business, product, and technology teams to define requirements, development, data, and process changes needed to convert to the new regulatory requirements for SMS messages.
  • Lead product activities: discovery, solutioning, requirements, story writing, risk/dependency identification, development management, partner on QA & UAT testing, and deployment coordination.
  • Understanding of and experience with analytics (patterns/trends), personas, journeys, process mapping, stakeholder interviews – all as a basis for sound and evidenced product change and design.
  • Partner with product, testing, technology, and businesses to ensure successful scheduling, releasing, and validation to production.
  • Write accurate and complete Jira issues (stories, bugs, tasks) and drive execution and delivery across multiple scrum and partner teams; maintain impeccable Jira hygiene for transparency and visibility.
  • Engage in and participate in all ceremonies, meetings, and operating routines to ensure successful delivery.
  • Effectively manage timelines and dependencies while monitoring blockers, ensuring adequate resourcing.
  • Lead with adherence to the firm’s risk, controls, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
