About Houston-Galveston Area Council

What will I bedoing?
ü Oversee, at high level, the compliance and monitoring of agency contracts and performance metrics related to department contracts.
ü Interpret and ensure contract policies and procedures are followed by departments.
ü Assist with contract administration.
ü May also perform contract data entry activities as needed to expedite contracts.
ü Perform procurement-related activities as it pertains to contracts.
ü May also be required to train agency personnel in contracting procedures. Provide guidance and assistance to other employees as required.
ü Perform other related duties as required/assigned.
KeyQualifications
ü Experience in complex service contracts and reporting on contractor performance
ü Experience in risk assessment/expenditure tracking
ü Experience with Federal contracting regulations and flow down requirements (2 CFR 200)
ü Experience in organizational monitoring and management/project management
ü Knowledge of Microsoft suite products or other project management tools
ü Ability to work under pressure, under tight deadlines, and manage conflicting priorities

ü Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline orrelatedfield of study
ü 3years of experienceworking with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties
