Job description

On behalf of our client, Noor Workforce Solutions is seeking Data Collectors to conduct one-on-one assessments with kindergarten and first-grade students as part of an educational research study evaluating the effectiveness of the Bouncy program. The Bouncy program helps young learners (K-grade 1) to learn social and emotional skills.
This is a temporary, part-time opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young children. The project is expected to start with training in August 2026, followed by approximately 7–8 weeks of data collection (ending in October 2026). Data collectors can expect to work Monday- Friday during school hours.
Data Collectors will need a reliable car to travel to participating elementary schools in the Dallas area to administer individual child assessments using a laptop provided by our client. Assessments will be conducted during the school day, beginning around 8:00 a.m. and assessing students for approximately 4.5 hours per day .
Several times a week, there will also be data collector meetings with AIR to debrief about data collection challenges, successes, and questions.
This averages to approximately 23 hours per week plus driving time (paid), with slightly more meeting time during the first few weeks of the project.
This position requires reliability, professionalism, flexibility, and strong communication skills. You will also need to pass a background check and may need to complete fingerprinting, depending on requirements of each school district.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or professional experience in child development, developmental psychology, social work, early childhood education, or other fields related to early childhood development.
  • Prior experience assessing, teaching, or working as a paraprofessional in a classroom with young children ages 4 to 6 years.
  • This position requires basic computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office (e.g. Teams, Word, Excel).
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Live in or near Dallas, Texas.
Pay for this position is $33.00/hr
Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience conducting child assessments or education research.
