Job Description

Position: Data Integration Lead

Duration: 6 Months contract and after that Full-time 

Location: Newark NJ

Direct Client: Immediate interview 

Responsible for conducting research and root cause analysis for customers with the goal of recommending and implementing new processes and solutions to operational deficiencies. Resolves issues and improves operational performance on a cross-functional/departmental basis. This is a senior level position working independently with guidance only in the most complex situations.


Responsibilities:

Investigate provider data integration related issues to identify root cause of issues; identify and communicate business needs assessments as necessary. 

Lead recurring status meetings and communicate ongoing status updates.

Develop solutions based on data analysis to increase business efficiency. 

Lead or participate in internal and external project workgroup(s) and presentations. 

Prepare materials for audit activities; review audit findings/reports for accuracy and completeness. If appropriate, formulate rebuttal and/or corrective action steps. 

Coach cross-functional staff; assist in distributing and following up on work assignments.

Establish and oversee an improved and refined audit, balance, and controls framework.

Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by management. 


Knowledge:

Knowledge of Healthcare industry required. 

Knowledge of Project Management methodologies. 


Skills and Abilities:

Requires demonstrated proficiency with data integration processes, applications, and tools.

Requires demonstrated proficiency with system to system data mapping and integration design.

Requires demonstrated proficiency with end to end data oversight and governance, including: audit, control, and balance procedures.

Requires demonstrated proficiency with automation and monitoring tools.

Requires proficiency in Oracle SQL & Microsoft SQL server.

Experience with using Informatica integration software is a plus. 

Experience with Six Sigma or other process improvement framework is a plus. 

Requires excellent oral and written communication skills. 

Requires excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. 

Requires excellent organizational and time management skills. 

Requires ability to handle multiple tasks. 

Requires experience with MS Office tools, including Visio. 

Requires ability to lead globally distributed team. 


Education/Experience:

Requires Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (computer science, engineering or MIS).

8+ years of relevant work experience.

Master's degree a plus.


Additional licensing, certifications, registrations:

Professional certification in area of expertise a plus. 


Other requirements:

May be called upon to perform production support or system rollouts on nights and weekends
